Bit of fun, really.

I made the original background for a heroic age wall I created.

However, the character image for that was quite huge, and I thought it was a shame to loose it all behind them, so I worked up this version.

Basically, you've got a nebula in the bg then, a bright sun with a bit of a home-made lends flare, and then two planets with attendant moons. The planet to the sun is something akin to mercury or venus--a hot rock--and the one near us is an earth-like planet with plant life.

Obviously the planets involve some filters, but otherwise everything else is hand-drawn or painted with my wacom and/or mouse in photoshop.

I'll be uploading proper wallpaper versions over the w/end at some point, probably, but for now this is the full canvas image, downsized a little.
